With every clinic or workshop I give, my goal is to help photographers "see with their heart" and "hear what the flower is saying".  because without those two things, it's difficult to get unimaginably beautiful images. Hearing and seeing come in different ways and with most floral photographers, it is important to get hands-on training with someone they identify with.

It is also important for attendees to learn to develop their own identity in floral photography and post-processing so I spend time listening to them and watching what they do to help them follow a path where they will find success.

Orlando Clinic & Workshop - January 2025

In this very special Clinic & Workshop, I will be working with Jacki Spearly, Lensbaby Ambassador. Working together as instructors, Jacki and I will take a hands-on approach so that the attendees can achieve

success in capturing flowers with their Lensbaby lenses and/or their Lensbaby optics used in a Composer Pro holder.

Additionally, each attendee can borrow one Lensbaby lens and one Lensbaby optic to try "play and try something new" as they photograph. There is no additional cost for this option.

To learn more about the Clinic/ Workshop, please click this link . If you like what you see and would like to join one of the two sessionss, you will also be able to make your non-payment deposit through the form. If you have any questions, please email me: Rosie@thejoyofflowerphotography.com, and I will be happy to answer them for you.

Montreal Workshop - June 2-4, 2025

Before Jacki and I left the 2024 Montreal Workshop, we were already thinking about

a 2025 Workshop at the fabulous Montreal Botanical Gardens.

The flowers in this pristine garden (Peony, Roses, Iris, and Columbine to name a few), are

plentiful and it is a joy to wander from area to area and be completely enthralled with the environment.

More information will be available for this Workshop in Early January 2025. Please check back then for booking and hotel information.
