Ansel Adams is quoted as saying, "You don't take a picture; you make a picture." That is as true today as it was when he said those words about a hundred years ago. Here's why they are still relevant - we are the ones who develop our images using Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw, then perhaps Photoshop.

Adams also said, "Life is your art. An open, aware heart is your camera, and oneness with your world is your film".

Those quotes taken together are the reason why I have been, and will continue to be, a staunch proponent of photographing only images that speak to your heart, and then post-processing them in a way that will speak volumes to your viewers.

This Learn Now! page is dedicated to helping floral photographers begin the process of learning to post-process their images. Ansel Adams spent days and sometimes weeks in the dark room "perfecting" or "making" an image. I can promise that if you invest your time and resources in watching my courses and practicing the techniques I teach, you will experience excellence in your images that you have not attained before.

Begin Learning for Free

To learn anything, you must start at the beginning, and no matter what genre of photography you are in, perfecting the light and color of your image is the definitive place to begin post-processing your image. That step should start by bringing your image into Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw.

My Course, The "Perfection" Bundle, was created to teach floral photographers the initial steps required to create beautiful floral art. You can begin learning right now by watching the five complimentary lessons in that course.
